SPEND YOUR SUMMER IN A CROP TOP

Crop tops, where do I begin? I used to see them in all of my favorite stores and I always thought to myself, "Yay! High five the skinny bitches, do you want a cookie with that?! No.. of course you don't, because if you did you wouldn't be wearing crop tops." Then I thought about how much I love cookies and hate how clothing everywhere was starting to shrink.
For those of you who still hate crop tops, it's time to drop the grudge and show some skin because the cropped style isn't going anywhere.

Right now you're probably thinking:

1. She's crazy
2. I'm too curvy for crop tops
3. I'm to skinny for crop tops
4. I don't want to look scandalous
5. Do I need to start working out?
6. What will I wear with a crop top?

Take notes!

For my slender ladies, the crop top was made for your body! Embrace it to the fullest and crop it how you like it. Crop tops that hug your body tightly can be paired with something flowy on the bottom such as a maxi skirt or a high-waist skirt. Sport a fringed crop top with a pair of jeans and an over sized crop top with a pair of destroyed shorts. The key is: if its tight on top go flowy on bottom. If it's flowy on top go tight on bottom!

For my ladies who's hips don't lie, Yes! We want to show off those hips, but we also want to compliment and cater to their shape. By wearing a crop top that has more length on the sides you will balance out your curves while also showing off your mid drift. Fringe is also another way to sport a crop top when you have wide hips. Maxi skirts, high and low waist will go great with these crop tops. When pairing your varied length crop top with shorts or jeans I would go for a waist length that fits your curves in the right places. You will have to determine how much you want to show off and then pick a fit you are comfortable with!

For all of my voluptuous ladies, including myself, you can wear crop tops too! The number one key to pulling off a crop top is pairing it with high-waist bottoms. Maxi skirts are my go-to when I wear a crop top because I can control whether I want it high-waist or mid-waist. Pair a fitted crop top or bandeau with a high-waist skirt that cinches together at the top ( Outfit #1 ). This will give you that hour glass shape while showing off your upper waist and your legs.

DIY: BYE SUMMER FRIZZ

Whether you're stuck in humidity, dry heat, or other harsh summer conditions chances are that your hair needs some attention. Humidity causes frizz, dry heat keeps moisture from reaching the ends of your hair, and styling also takes a toll on previously damaged hair. Don't worry, the solution to your dry hair problems can be found in your kitchen cabinet!

Coconut oil and olive oil strengthen and soften damaged hair. When you apply heat to your hair the cuticles will open and soak up the nutrients from the oils, leaving you with healthy, soft, and shiny hair.
