Hi, I'm Natalie...
I am 5'2 and a size 18, which means I am petite AND plus size. Those two sizing terms might seem like polar opposites, but full figures come in a variety of shapes and sizes—one of those being short! As a petite plus size fashionista, it has been extremely difficult to fit into fashion and find clothing made for my body. But I'm here to share my petite plus style tips with you and to show the world that short, plus size women belong in fashion!

When I wore this skirt last winter, everyone went crazy over it. I got emails about the blog post I featured the skirt in, and all of a sudden, I had people approach me in person to ask me about it. I was baffled! I mean, I knew it was a cute skirt, but I had scooped it up at Gordman's one day while in Idaho, and I thought to myself, "Eh. It's $8, if I never wear it, it's not a huge loss." But little did I know that I had a little gem on my hands.

I only wear it here and there, but when I do, I definitely feel magic. I am a huge fan of sequins—whether they are in or out. I mentioned that I found the skirt at Gordman's, but it's originally from Express. While the skirt has since sold out, I have found many similar ones and placed them in the shop widget below! Now, I don't usually wear Express because they don't carry my size in stores, however, they do go up to a size 18 and XL online. I paired the skirt with this Rebel Wilson x Angels Cold Shoulder Sweatshirt and tied it above the waist for a different take. Instead of topping off the look with some heals, I wanted to whip out my favorite faux suede boots that I got from Charlotte Russe last fall, but Brinley Co. carries identical ones, too!

SIZING INFO: I am wearing a size XL in the Sequin Skirt from Express, which is one size smaller than my usual size, but it fits! I am wearing a size 2X in the Rebel Wilson x Angels Cold Shoulder Sweatshirt, which is my usual size, and it fits perfectly!
