Hi, I'm Natalie...
I am 5'2 and a size 18, which means I am petite AND plus size. Those two sizing terms might seem like polar opposites, but full figures come in a variety of shapes and sizes—one of those being short! As a petite plus size fashionista, it has been extremely difficult to fit into fashion and find clothing made for my body. But I'm here to share my petite plus style tips with you and to show the world that short, plus size women belong in fashion!

LAZY VIBES WITH A CONFIDENCE TWIST

Chicago Plus Size Petite Fashion Blogger, influencer, and model Natalie in the City Craig reviews Pretty Little Thing
Let's be honest, most days during this quarantine, I have been in sweatpants, pajamas, or naked. I really only pick one day a week—two if I seriously need it—to get dressed up. And I realized quickly that staying in sweatpants all day was only going to inhibit confidence and productivity. However, there is no way I am getting dressed up every day....especially because I have to deal with Rico, my pet parrot. Rico loves to sit on my head and groom/ruin my hair, fling fruit on me, and sometimes, poop on my clothes. So, having to be home with him all day makes a lazy outfit that I don't care about getting dirty more practical than anything.

So I decided to enhance my sweatpants/lazy day outfit game and try out some of Pretty Little Thing's loungewear. I fell in love with the combination of the Black Wide Rib Tie Waist Joggers paired with the Black Off the Shoulder Crop Knitted Sweater because while it's so cozy and comfortable, it's also sleek and beautiful. I can feel like I am in pajamas all day while also feeling polished and confident. One thing that I really hate about sweatpants is how thick and warm they are. While it's preferred to stay warm in the winter, thick sweatpants make me feel sweaty and gross—TMI? Something that was interesting about these Pretty Little Thing Plus Size Joggers was that they were actually made with pretty thin material. Stay tuned for more Pretty Little Thing loungewear, I got a BUNCH!

I hope you all are hanging in there. I know this is a scary and unsettling time for everyone. I am always available to talk if you need a shoulder to lean on or would just like to make a new friend! Reach out to me on Instagram or visit my contact page to learn how you can reach me! XO

SIZING INFO: I am wearing a size 18 in both the joggers and the sweater, which is my usual size, and both of the garments fit perfectly. The joggers were roomy, and I feel like I could have ordered a size 16 instead if I wanted a tighter fit.

Pretty Little Thing sent me this clothing to review. All opinions are my own!
